Cognition Foundry is honored and pleased to announce that we are a 2020 IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Enterprise Linux Solution on LinuxONE or Linux on IBM Z. This auspicious award will be presented during the IBM Think digital conference on May 5, 2020. Winning this award validates our achievements and our dedication to delivering social impact value with IBM technology solutions.

Cognition Foundry developed a bespoke platform for Investors In community (IIC) to help companies manage their CSR in a transparent, efficient and engaging way without reducing the value of contributions to charities. The unique platform supports all giving methods; money, fundraising, time, skills, gifts and services in kind. Allowing companies, individuals and charities to connect with each other, give directly through the platform, and track and manage their impact.

The platform features a unique digital token measuring system called Community Credits™. It is the only unifying measurement of all five types of giving in the market today, allowing the giver to collect community credits for every act of giving.

Individuals and charities can use the platform for free, ensuring that 100 percent of any money donated through the platform remains in the charity sector. Good causes, charities, individuals and businesses can set up projects that ask for funds, volunteers (both skilled and unskilled) and gifts. Individuals can explore charities in their local communities and further afield and see exactly where their contributions go.

Business members pay a nominal fee to use the platform. In return, they get a powerful set of tools that enables them to deliver, measure and promote their CSR activities to multiple stakeholders and helps achieve greater impact.

Due to the nature of the transactions and the need for trust and transparency, Cognition Foundry chose to build and deploy a Blockchain-based solution on IBM LinuxONE.

The outstanding reliability and power of the IBM LinuxONE plays a key role in building users’ trust in the verification of transactions.

With IIC’s global ambitions, high availability, security and scalability are critical aspects the solution needs, to capture every contribution with immediate response to show real-time results.

The Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain offers an immutable record of all transaction processes and issues the community credits earned by each act of giving.

Since working with IIC, Cognition Foundry has another proven story of how the right technology implemented by the right technology partner can make a transformational difference to the performance of a business. Another example of how technology can be used to bring a vision to life and make a sustainable social impact.  With this message, Cognition Foundry continues to attract new clients with global aspirations looking to deploy innovative solutions on IBM technology.

Cognition Foundry was selected as one of only 17 total Beacon Award winners across the IBM portfolio, standing out among dozens of global applicants. Winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges that consisted of industry experts, IBM executives and industry analysts who recognized how the Investors In Community Solution sparks client innovation with IBM technology. This win is a testament not only to our commitment to innovation but also to our end-users and their satisfaction and business growth. We hope that you will celebrate with us and that this honor reinforces your decision to work with us as a trusted technology partner.
